ABOUT US
A wardrobe clearout in 2019 inspired Willow founder, Cara Heaney to launch the business with the aim of focusing on extending the lifespan of beautiful designer occasionwear.
Having begun as an inventory-based business model, Willow quickly grew beyond Cara's own collection, with the launch of an innovative new peer-to-peer rental platform in 2023.
Inspired by Willows' own customers whose own wardrobes were also full of once-worn pieces, Willow Collective is encouraging style-seekers everywhere to do their part in the fight against fast-fashion.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is simple.
We want to encourage fashionistas everywhere to open up their wardrobes to the world and help create a truly circular fashion economy.
We want to make sustainable designer fashion more accessible, extending the lifespan of garments that are already in circulation to help reduce the tons of textile waste that goes to landfills each year.

Did you know that by the time a new garment has been bought, most of the damage has already been done as each garment supports a harmful production cycle of water pollution, labour abuse and textile waste?
We know customers love the thrill of wearing a new product, a design or a style that we haven't tried before. However, we also know that our customers are looking for more sustainable and environmentally-friendly ways of consuming fashion. That's where we come in!
